Build your career

If you are hands-on and enjoy practical challenges, a job in building & construction could be for you. It's one of the UK’s largest industries and there are many career opportunities. Our courses are taught in workshop environments meaning you will experience your trade as you would in the industry. Your learning won’t be confined to the workshop - you'll be encouraged to take on big projects with local companies.

Gain knowledge, skills and experience

We have qualifications for people of all skill levels, and will help you develop as far as you want to go. You'll use industry-standard equipment and will be taught by former building & construction professionals who will share their industry experience with you.

Working with real companies

We have strong links with local employers, including Halsion, Mears, DMA and Watkins – all leaders in their areas. This means you'll get the opportunity to visit real businesses and link up with them for work experience. Many students have ended up working for construction companies they made contact with at College.
