We welcome students from all parts of the EU and EEA. If you are a national of one of the following countries, you can study in the UK without needing to apply for a visa and you will pay home fees:
- Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, the Republic of Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
- Although Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland are not members of the EU, their citizens have the same rights as EU citizens to study in the UK.
For fee paying purposes, you would be classified as a Home Student and will pay home fees. For further information on particular course fees Home Students should contact email@example.com.
If English is not your first language, we do require students to have a strong level of English in order that they may successfully complete their studies. Our courses are conducted in English and require a good level of written English. An English level equivalent to at least IELTS 5.5 is required for most of our courses.
Bulgarian and Romanian Nationals
If you are a national of Bulgaria or Romania, you do not need to apply to the UK Border Agency under the points-based system in order to study in the UK.
However, in order to take employment for up to 20 hours a week during term time and full-time during vacation periods you must first obtain a registration certificate confirming that you are a student.

Student Support is the name given to financial support provided in the UK for students. It takes the form of Student Loans, grants and maintenance payments depending on the course of study and the student’s circumstances.
Further Education students from the EU/EEA
Students need to contact the College to see if they qualify for a discretionary Learner Support Fund (dLSF), a 16-19 Bursary or a 24+ Advanced Learning Loan.
Usually a student must have been resident in the UK or EU for the past three years and these funds are aimed at assisting students from low income families. For more information visit our Student Finance Pages.
Higher Education students from the EU/EEA

Higher Education students need to be on a full-time course that leads to one of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts and undergraduate degrees
- Higher National Diploma (HND)
- Higher National Certificate (HNC)
- Teacher Training
- Diplomas in Higher Education
