
We welcome students from all parts of the EU and EEA. If you are a national of a country in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, you can study in the UK without needing to apply for a visa. You are able to study in the UK without needing to apply for a student visa.

For fee paying purposes, you would be classified as a Home Student and will pay home fees. For further information on particular course fees Home Students should contact admissionsdept@canterburycollege.ac.uk
If you are a National of the following EU countries, territories or EEA countries, then you pay Home Fees:

If English is not your first language, we do require students to have a strong level of English in order that they may successfully complete their studies. Our courses are conducted in English and require a good level of written English. An English level equivalent to at least IELTS 5.5 is required for most of our courses.
If you are a national of a country which joined the EU in or after 2004, please note the following additional information.
Bulgarian and Romanian nationals
If you are a national of Bulgaria or Romania, you do not need to apply to the UK Border Agency under the points-based system in order to study in the UK. However, you must not work for more than 20 hours per week while you study until the UKBA has given you permission.
Nationals of the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia or Slovenia
If you are a national of one of these countries, you do not need to apply to the UK Border Agency under the points-based system in order to study in the UK. You will need to register under the Worker Registration Scheme if you want to work while you are studying in the UK, unless you are exempt from the worker registration requirements.
