Shared Student Flats/Houses
There are several agents in Canterbury who deal with student lettings.
Agents usually require:
- A deposit
- Payment for credit checks
- An EU or UK only guarantor and/or a payment of between 3-6 months up front.
Please note that shared student accommodation is usually an option if students want accommodation for 6 months or more. Students can contact the agents directly. Lists for houses for the academic year starting in September are usually available from March onwards. If students would like a room only in a shared house then they tend to become available from August onwards. The links to the accommodation websites are as follows:

NOTE: Most agencies will need the 3-6 month deposit but if the landlord is private, then the deposit may be negotiated to be the standard 6 week deposit.
