In addition to training for store staff, retail skills shops work with Business Link and other local agencies to provide training and advice on a variety of business and retailing topics. Retail skills shops provide a signposting service to any retailer or employee they cannot help directly. Retail skills shops maintain a link with local agencies, providers and further education colleges and keep a library of information, to which retailers and their staff have access.
