Objectives of the Course
This one day training course provide delegates who have attended the Introduction to Project Management course with more time to go through a wider range of tools and templates that are considered BEST practice in Project Management. A follow on to the Introduction to Project Management course. This practical day fills in the gaps that project managers need to be able to manage project teams - not just the paperwork! Delegates who attend this course will gain all of the desired background required to go on to complete the official PRINCE2 qualification. This course uses a mix of trainer presentations, delegate notes and exercise based interactive sessions that explore the PRINCE2 project management method.
By the end of the course delegates will learn:
How to build a project team, how to communicate effectively and how to deal with the difficulties of managing staff (in your project team) who may be line managed by another manager. The training also focuses on the people management elements of Project Management - which is often overlooked in project management training.
