This intensive programme comprises three main areas of study: Music Industry Management, Language of Music and Electronic Music Production. Through a balance of theory and practice students will develop an in-depth knowledge of music production and the skills necessary for a career within the industry.

Applicants must have at least one of the following: BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts, Popular Music, Music Technology, Music or a related course; Edexcel Vocational certifi cate in Education (Double Award) in Performing Arts; 2 A levels at C including Music/Music Technology or equivalent qualifi cation, or appropriate work experience. Assessment is through coursework, written tests, assignments and project work.Progression:
Students may progress to the BA (Hons) Creative Music Production & Technology 1 year top-up degree offered at Canterbury College or similar degree top-up programmes, or may progress directly to employment within Music and related industries.
