Certificate in HR Practice - Level 3
Designed to improve the practical performance of people who have, or are about to be given, specialist personnel responsibilities within their own organisations.
What will I learn?
The CHRP introduces students to the topics of the role of HR managers in the organisation, recruitment and selection processes, employment law, HR introduction systems, performance management and employee relations.
How will I be assessed?
Each of the six modules is seperatetly assessed either by a written report looking at how the students own organisation operates or through a skills based assessment activity, i.e. recruitment interviewing
What may it lead to?
The CHRP meets the knowledge requirements for associate membership of the CIPD. Holders of the CHRP may also progress onto the CIPD's Advanced Diploma in HRM - sibject to entrance academic criteria.
Entry Requirements:
Suitable for people over 20 who have 5 GCSEs at C (or equivalent), including English Language and Maths. Mature students in a personnel management or supervisory function but without the qualifications are also welcome to apply.
Additional Information & Other Costs:
Ideally students should be working in HR or be able to access an HRM department for material for assessment.
