We have created the following short introductory courses.  Gift vouchers are available.

All sessions take place on Saturday mornings and last for 2-4 hours.  All courses include materials.

Basic Photoshop 8th May, 10am, 2 hours

By cutting through the complex interface of Photoshop you will be shown the basic tools that enable you to drastically improve your shots. This course is the perfect compliment to “Understand your Digital SLR”.

* Brick work 24 April, 9.30am, 3 hours

Learn how to lay bricks and make repairs to your house.

Building a Web Page  15th May, 10am, 2 hours

Use basic online tools to create, modify and publish a basic website.

Learn the basics of car maintenance to help your car pass its MOT.

** Classic Cocktails 24 April, 9.30am, 4 hours

An exciting introduction to the world of cocktails, providing a foundation in the mechanics of mixology and cocktail preparation at home.

Decorate Your Own Plate 15 May, 10am, 3 hours

Create your own design and decorate a china plate using coloured transfers. These will be fired for collection by arrangement at a later date.

Drumming 24 April, 10am, 3 hours

The taster will look at basic playing concepts and intro to basic rhythms including Quarter note and eighth note patterns. By the end of the session beginners will be able to play a basic beat and play along with a backing track.

Electrical Safety 24 April, 9.30am, 4 hours over 2 weeks

Small Animal Handling 24 April, 10am, 3 hours

Learn how to safely handle small animals from ferrets and guinea pigs, to more exotic species like lizards and snakes. No-one will have to handle anything that they have a fear of.

An introduction to the basic principles of metal work and welding – make a plant pot holder, or similar bracket for your garden.
