Bridging the Gap
The ‘Bridging the Gap’ project provides a chance for students in Further Education to obtain a qualification that will guarantee a job interview to assist with the security arrangements for the London 2012 event.
This opportunity is also answering to a demand from the security industry to encourage young adults to pursue a career in this particular sector and will further provide a renewed supply chain of individuals who are suitably trained and qualified through Canterbury College.
The Olympics will present a huge demand for the security of both the competitors and spectators and by attending the short course below, you could help meet the security requirements that London 2012 will bring.
There will also be numerous opportunities for you to undertake paid work experience at other various major sporting events such as Wimbledon which will help enhance employment opportunities for those taking part.
