Part - Time Receptionist

  • Working for a professional car showroom based in Ashford Orbital Park.
  • You will be responsible for meeting and greeting clients, dealing with telephone enquiries and general administration.
  • Applicants must have the ability to work efficiently with the public, basic computer skills and a confident telephone manner.
  • Applicants must have a smart appearance, be efficient and well organised.
  • Working hours will be Friday 8.00am-5.30pm and Saturday 8.00am-1.00pm
  • £6 per hour

Apprentice Chef

  • Working for a popular Belgian restaurant located in Ramsgate.
  • You will have the opportunity to learn from highly skilled professional Chefs. Main duties will include assisting with the preparation of dishes, operating kitchen equipment, securing food supplies from refrigerator, participating in kitchen cleaning work.
  • You will have a passion for cooking, be ambitious and ideally have previous work experience in the catering industry.
  • Working 30 hours per week (including some weekends and evenings), you will attend College one day a week as part of the apprenticeship framework.
  • Standard apprenticeship wage £2.60 per hour applies.

Team Member

  • Needed for a popular bakers coming to Canterbury Town Centre.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience in the catering or food production industry.
  • Duties include; serving customers in a friendly, professional and efficient manner, preparing a variety of food items to the highest standards, ensuring that all areas of the shop and food products are displayed in a clean, tidy and attractive manner, seeking to maximise the sales and profitability of their store, processing transactions, making beverages and preparing 'freshly baked' items.
  • You will excel in effective communication, work well as part of a team and be customer focused.
  • Working flexible hours throughout the week including weekends.

Customer Service Apprenticeship

  • Required for an established piercing/tatooing company based in Canterbury Town Centre.
  • Duties will be; shadowing snd training to pierce, advising customers following Health and Safety requirements, stock checking, visual merchandising, cashing up, cleaning and sterilizing equipment, recommending products needed for aftercare, preparing body parts for piercing.
  • You will be required to undertake an NVQ level 2 in Customer Service.
  • Must have GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
  • Ideal candidate must have a steady hand and excellent attention to detail.
  • Applicants must be aged 18 or over
  • Salary £2.60 per hour

Retail Apprenticeship

  • Working for a popular sports shop based in Sittingbourne.
  • Duties will include: serving customers on products, delivery processing including checking off delivery notes and stacking shelves, warehouse work (carrying and unpacking boxes), answering the telephone, cash handling.
  • This is a one year apprenticeship; therefore you will be working full time while undertaking an NVQ Level 2 qualification within Retail.
  • Ideal candidate will have some retail experience and a passion for sports. Must be confident and flexible.
  • Salary £2.60 per hour

Dental Apprenticeship

  • Working for a busy Dental Practice based in Whitstable
  • You will work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing and be responsible to the Practice Manager and the Dentist. You will be required to perform high quality dental nursing.
  • Your normal working week will be on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and you will attend college on a Thursday to complete your qualification.
  • Applicants must have 5 GCSE's at grade C or above including Maths and English. Must have positive attitude to work, be motivated, enthusiastic and a keen interest in dentistry.
  • Salary £2.60 per hour.

  • Required for Security/Alarm Business based in Canterbury.
  • Duties include handling incoming telephone calls, generating quotes and invoices, meeting and greeting, typing letters and reports, filing and other general admin duties.
  • You will be required to attend College one day every 3-4 weeks to complete an NVQ level 2 in Business and Administration.
  • Must be IT literate and very confident at dealing with the public.
  • Working 37 hours a week
  • £2.50 per hour, one year contract.

  • You will be fully trained to Level 3 and be responsible to the Practice Manager and the Dentists and will be required to perform high quality dental nursing.

Fabrication and Welding Apprenticeship

  • Working for a sheet metal business based in Whitstable.
  • You will be required to help manufacture sheet metal components within idustries in clinical, electrical, architectural, marine, shop-fitting, automotive and building security.
  • You will be required to work full time while completing an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Fabrication and Welding.
  • Must have a keen ineterest in Engineering, be committed and be able to work as part of a team.
  • salary £185 per week

Business Administration Apprentice

  • Working for a charitable organisation in Faversham.
  • You will be responsible for helping with day to day running of the events/marketing area.
  • Your duties will include setting up rooms, dealing with bookings, maintaining the new in-house booking system, credit control and meeting clients.
  • You must have excellent communication and customer service skills, basic computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and a passion for events and marketing.
  • You will attend Canterbury College one day every three weeks to complete your technical certificate in Business Administration.
  • Maths and English GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent) is required.
  • 37 hours per week (including some Saturdays)

  • Working as part of a small, busy team of Photocopier Engineers based in Canterbury.
  • You will be learning installation, servicing and repair along with providing helpdesk support to remote users and other related tasks.
  • Skills required are excellent communication skills, a good level of Literacy, IT and Numeracy.
  • The training provided gives you the opportunity to work towards an NVQ Level 2 qualification in IT.
  • Maths and English GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) is required.
  • Hours are Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm (37.5 hours)
  • £95 per week, one year contract (£2.50 per hour)

  • Working as administration support to the Management Committee based in Canterbury.
  • Your duties will involve: sorting post, document exchange and faxes, answering the telephone, assisting the other Clerksas required and any further duties as required at the discretion of the Senior Clerk.
  • You must have the ability to maintain good communications with all Barristers, be computer literate and ideally be able to drive as you will be expected to deliver files to the courts.
  • Maths and English GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) is required.
  • Hours are Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.00pm (35 hours)
  • £95 per week, one year contract (£2.50 per hour)
