Apprentice Hairdresser

  • Working for a popular salon, based in Queenborough, Sheppey.
  • Your daily duties will include: greeting clients, shampooing for stylists, preparing and cleaning equipment, applying treatments, mixing colours, observing stylists and providing impeccable customer service at all times.
  • This is a training position and you will also spend time achieving a Technical Certificate and NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing and observing the professional stylists.
  • The ideal applicant does not require previous salon experience but should have a passion for the hair industry.
  • You working week will consist of 37 hours including some weekends.

Supervisor

  • Needed for a popular clothing retail store based in Whitefriars, Canterbury.
  • Ideal candidate will have strong retail, customer service or/and supervisory experience.

Area Surveyor

  • Working for a large brewer based in Faversham.
  • You will play a key role in providing project and maintenance services across our tenanted estate, and will work to demanding standards in return for an exciting and rewarding career opportunity.
  • You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic. IT literacy and a sound working knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance, health and safety, and procurement disciplines are key attributes.

Telesales Assistants needed asap!

2nd Year Trainee Commis Chef

  • Needed for a popular hotel based in St Margaret's Bay, near Dover.
  • Role includes assisting in all areas of production instructed by the Head Chef, preparation of food, stock rotate, updating menu and general cleaning.
  • Ideal candidate must be currently enrolled onto the second year of Catering and Hospitality, be passionate about working in the catering industry, reliable and creative.
  • Previous experience within a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Process Technician

  • Required to work on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract for an Engineering company based in Sittingbourne.
  • You will be required to produce AutoCAD drawings for engineering installations and remediation systems, active involvement on engineering projects to include assisting with the installation, operation and design of the remediation systems, recording of monitoring data and the reporting of system faults to the engineering team.
  • You will be working away from home on a regular basis and often at short notice; you may also be required to work abroad.
  • The successful candidate will be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Excel.
  • Candidates must have a full UK/EC driving licence, a valid passport and be 21 years or over for insurance purposes.
  • Salary £16,000 - £18,000 depending on experience.

Early Years Nursery Apprentice

  • Based at a busy nursery in Whitstable.
  • Working in a nursery setting you will be responsible for completing observations, preparing equipment for activities, planning activities, preparing healthy meals and snacks and playing with the children.
  • This is a training role and you will be required to attend college on a day release basis to complete an NVQ level 2 qualification in Childcare.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English.

Snail Farm Assistant

  • Duties will include penning the enclosure, planting vegetables, weeding, feeding and moving the snails, general outside duties.
  • Ideal candidate will be comfortable with handling the snails, physically fit and happy to work outdoors in all weathers.

Volunteer Youth Workers

  • Working in a youth club at the Canterbury Army Barracks you will be 18 or over and ideally have your own transport.
  • The club runs on a Tuesday and Thursday evening with two groups; 8-11 year olds from 5:30pm-7pm and 11-18 year olds from 7:30pm-9pm. You can do one or all of the sessions.
  • You will receive a CRB check and this position could lead to an NVQ in Youth Work.

  • You will be required to undertake an NVQ level 2 in Customer Service.
  • Must have GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
