Canterbury College stars in National CBI film
This month Canterbury College has a starring role alongside Greg Dyke, Richard Branson, Daisy Goodwin and Ed Balls in a new CBI (Confederation of British Industry) film about business and enterprise.
‘Fit for Tomorrow’ is a free DVD inside the May Edition of ‘Business Voice’ - which is the in house magazine of the Confederation of British Industry who are Britain’s most influential business organisation.
The CBI film crew spent a day at the College in March where they interviewed Mark Hill, Director of Business & Associated Services and toured the impressive new £50 million campus. The short film looks at how the College engages with the modern business world and also features interviews with Hugo Fenwick, Group Trading Director, Fenwick and Dawn Hudd, Local Economy Manager, Canterbury City Council.
Also on the DVD there are a series of other stories about what strategies UK organizations are implementing today that will keep them competitive in the future. Other key stories that feature on the film are on Business Innovation, The Talent War, Corporate Responsibility, Carbon Footprint and Succession Planning. It features organisation participants within each section, ranging from Telecommunications, Government departments, and utility providers BT, KPMG, Credit Suisse, Sainsbury’s, The Princes Trust, The National Grid, HP, The Department for Education and Skills and the Department for Work and Pensions.
