Calling all Former Canterbury College Students
Did you used to study or teach at Canterbury College? If the answer is yes, then we want to hear from you.
Canterbury College has set up Alumni and Friends for former students and staff to keep up to date with what’s happening at the New Dover Road campus.
The College will be sending out a quarterly newsletter detailing forthcoming events, news from around the campus and updates on the current £19.5million redevelopment.
Alumni and Friends will give members the chance to find out about services at Canterbury College, including the Beretun Restaurant, Hair and Beauty Salons and Florist. They will also receive advanced notice of College events including concerts, shows, awards and exhibitions.
“Universities and private schools have fostered the relationship between alumni and friends for many years and we are the first further education college in the area to embark on this type of project.” Mark added: “With over 60 years of history, it will be great to see photos of what the College used to be like before the current major redevelopments. Several of our existing staff, business associates and friends of the College are former students, including myself between 1992-94. Therefore we are looking forward to finding out what thousands of our former students have gone on to achieve since their time here and to offering them good reasons and the benefits of staying in touch.”
